New Parents Avoid These Mistakes When Caring For Babies!
'Being a parent is not easy. But the hardest thing that parents love to do and make some mistakes that are completely normal, you can learn from them. And don't repeat that mistake.'
A wave of happiness at the arrival of a new guest in the family. As the first child, new parents have a lot of anxiety around him. To keep the child healthy, to understand his good and bad, parents are worried about everything along with happiness. It's important to remember that it's normal to make common mistakes as a first-time parent. But there are proper strategies and rules for child care. By following those guidelines there is no more worry or fear. Hospitals and doctors are always there to make the journey of new parents smooth. However, the United Nations has also put forward an ideal to overcome additional concerns. It has been said about Child Health Care, only parents can help develop the child's brain through the first hug, every kiss, every nutritious food, play around the child. Did you know that babies start laughing at people's behavior and movements after a few days of birth?
In this regard, Dr Aruna Kalra, Senior Gynecologist and Obstetrician at CK Birla Hospital, told that 'Being a parent is not easy. But the hardest thing that parents love to do and make some mistakes that are completely normal, you can learn from them. And don't repeat that mistake.'

Freaking out over the little things – The most common mistake new parents make is panicking over the little things. Baby crying, sleeping, eating, pooping – everything makes them anxious. Panic is not good for the child. Rather it makes the child bored. You need to stay calm while taking care of the newborn. If something worries you, take your child to the clinic regularly and discuss your concerns with the doctor.
Getting the baby to breastfeed – Breastfeeding is the ultimate source of nutrition for the baby. Initially you may doubt whether the baby is full at all but this does not mean that you should wake the baby for feeding. A well-breastfed baby should sleep undisturbed through the night.
Neglecting Oral Care – Many times new parents forget to clean baby's mouth. It is as important as maintaining a child's oral hygiene. Just as important for adults. Be sure to wipe your baby's gums with a soft cotton cloth after every feeding.
Don't listen to different people's advice - In the first few months, everyone with experience will give you advice on how to handle a baby. But remember, the only opinion that matters is yours. Do what you think is right for the child. Don't trust any unreliable source for parenting advice. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
Comparing Growth – No two people are the same, not even children. And this is one of the most common mistakes new parents make. There is no need to compare your baby's growth rate with anyone else's. Different children grow at different rates. No two of them are equal. The sooner you understand this, the better.
